Kleybis Lorenzo

            Kleybis Lorenzo is an Administrative Assistant and Bookkeeper at the Law Offices of Timothy W. Davis.  She has been a vital member of the team since she joined the firm in September of 2021 and is fluent in both English and Spanish.

            Kleybis came to the United States in 1991, hailing originally from the Dominican Republic where she was born and spent most of her youth.  Once in the United States, Kleybis lived for a long time in New York, and earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Management from Monroe College in New York City in 2004.  She worked for several years for food distribution companies and the Department of Education before eventually moving down to Maryland.  Although she was originally hired solely to keep the accounts and books ordered at the firm, Kleybis has over time occasionally taken on administrative and paralegal roles in addition.

            For Kleybis, the idea of working with immigrants had never occurred to her until she began her time with the Law Offices of Timothy W. Davis.  Over the past two years, she has seen how hard the attorneys and staff work to help immigrants get settled and gain the opportunity to live freely and legally in this country and has found a new appreciation for all the possibilities that immigrants have available to them here.
